Hello! Welcome to Wikipedia, Braffit. Thank you for your fine work in 'Montreal, Quebec' and 'Brampton, Ontario'. Judging from the work you've done, it seems that your forte is in eastern Canada; you can find plenty of articles in need of fleshing out at 'List of communities in Ontario' and 'List of communities in Quebec'. You can find more articles in need in other fields at Wikipedia:Pages needing attention, if you wish.
You might find these links helpful in starting new articles or helping with existing ones: How to edit a page, How to write a great article, Naming conventions, Manual of Style. You should read our policies at some point too.

Hi Braffit, good work you've been doing, just any reason you've changed the table at the bottom of Brampton, Ontario? -- user:zanimum
- A very informative site. I merely upgraded the table at the bottom of the page to be a little closer to the quality of the site itself. Why is there no current photograph of Brampton, similar to what appears on the Toronto or Montreal pages? If you can even find a photo of city hall that would further add to the effectiveness of the page.
- The table is based on a template, used on most, if not all of the Canadian city, town and village pages. If you'd like to have the table look that way, suggest it on the Talk:Canada. I will add pictures soon, but on Wikipedia, everything must be public domain, or fair use, which is a whole other story. -- user:zanimum
Re: Black Canadian, I have one comment and one question. The comment is that lists of people's names have to be alphabetized by last name, not first name, which is why I changed the order of the list yesterday. It's not just a Wikipedia thing, or my own personal preference -- it's standard format in any reference work to alphabetize a list by surname. The question is, why do you keep removing legitimate names such as Glenn Lewis and Maestro Fresh Wes? Bearcat 22:49, 13 Apr 2004 (UTC)
Hi, why did you change the references in Elijah McCoy from refering to him as "McCoy" to as "Elijah"? The last name is usually considered more the more proper and respectful way to do so. Unless there is some particular reason you can explain, I think this should be changed back. -- Infrogmation 21:52, 13 May 2004 (UTC)
Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Braffit! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 291 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
